its essentially like a contract but if i'm 3 months from my "upgrade" date and i want a phone, i can give them $60 to pay off my phone and get an upgrade price on a new one. It's like an ETF but cheaper and you don't have to cancel your plan. And on the other end, if my upgrade comes around and I don't want any of the current phones, I can just pay the service fee without the phone payment on top.

talked to one coworker who has it. Says its strong at work, at his house, and most places around town. In big places like the mall it can get shitty and there are a few spots in town where it will drop. He said they've been improving it little by little too, he used to have no signal at his kids school but now its really strong.

if i had 2.5gb of data and wifey had 500mb, total monthly cost (including $20/mo to pay off each phone) would be $130. That's $30 less than we pay now. Plus if I feel like it, can pay off my phone when I get tax refund or whatever and bill drops another $20 or $40 if i pay off both.

well after using ninja sms, i liked the idea a lot. I just didn't like how ninja and messaging didn't communicate all that well and ninja didn't have its own full sms app built in, just the pop-ups.

So if Halo would pop up draggable "chat head" type icons for the normal sms app, that would be sweet.

That's what I'm thinking too. Swipe to the left gives toggles, swipe to the right gives the time and "dismiss all" button. It would make sense that the notifications would be on that side under the time/button.

It shows my notifications above the pie so I can see what I have but I can't get to them, have to manually open the apps that are putting up the notifications :pow:

Almost definitely going to TMo when VZW contracts expire. Since I doubt we'll be able to afford two phones at retail, I'll probably end up on a "contract" with TMo. But we'll see since Nexii aren't that expensive.

New place has outlets spaced oddly, need two 6ft microusb cables to setup nightstand chargers. Monoprice ones have meh reviews, I guess the connectors suck. Not sure which ones to trust on Amazon. Don't want shit connectors or cables that don't charge some phones.

rofl well every outlet in the room is only half useful because bottom sockets are switched on/off with the switch and the only outlet that's close enough to the nightstands to work is the one in the middle behind the bed. So I gotta find either two long micro usb cables or put a splitter on the socket and then two extension cords. splitter plus 2 extensions sounds shady to me :jester:

you haz a Nexus brah, can definitely haz. 4.3 roms usually start dropping the same day as the source is released. Sometimes there are a few bugs in the first builds but since it's not a major release there probably won't be many issues.
