Eh, I would love too. At this current time though, probably not gonna be able to do that. Thinking I am just gonna wait until the dual-cores come out to see if they offer the battery-life they are saying by theory, or if its beyond shitty. Hopefully, SII comes to VZW. Otherwise, I will pick up something this summer when that starts to happen and the market floods with people bailing on their single cores. Probably DX or Fascinate at that time.

My thing is I have an upgrade, and would love to get grandfathered into the unlimited plan with the thunderbolt but do not want to be locked into a contract because of the upgrade. Who knows at this point, I do know I would like that SII to come to VZW...that one I would for sure get.

A coworker dropped his iPhone to get one. He said he likes it so far but I didn't get to play with it. The only negative he told me about was that he can't charge it while it sits on the kickstand because the charge port is on the bottom.

Probably to force you into buying a dock lol.

Saw/heard about JuiceDefender before but said FTS DNNeed. This morning they were talking about it in GMFS Droid thread so I said FIDIL lemme try dat shet. Installed it this morning before I unplugged my phone.

So far it has been unplugged for 5.5 hours. I listened to mp3s on my way into work (30-40 mins), have been texting 4 diff people all morning, called my wife for few minutes, browsed the amazon appstore for a little bit, opened up angry birds rio to check how many pineapples i had so can troll a coworker, checked a couple webpages, read some twitterz, hmm.. I think that's it.

Defender of jooz surprised me. Either it is pretty bamf or it is placebo and my phone is always at 80 right now but I'm pretty sure it's usually a lot lower. It's killing data whenever the screen turns off, which is fine by me.

:jester: :word: Of course I want as much battery life as I can get but in NO way do I expect ANY android phone to last forever. Not even close to a BB. These things have huge amazing screens, badass graphics chips, 1ghz+, dual cores, more ram than a BB, etc, etc.

I don't know what was wrong with that D1, but I definitely did not have good battery life with it. It was Root'd/bloat off/SetCPU/CM ROM that reviews stated has the best battery life/etc...who knows.

Same here. Of course whoring it out, playing games, having your screen at full bright the whole time, etc will kill it faster, but under normal usage I always last from wake up to bed time. Only when I play games, use navigation a lot, watch videos, etc do I end up having to plug it in.

I grew up in a city, but spent a majority of my time in the country. As far as facebook is concerned, really only used it to keep up with friends in Oklahoma. I thought about it and was like one day I will create another one. No big deal now. It was a procrastination tool anyway, sort of like GMF$ and AOT.

Couldn't you create a backup file of current setup, install gB, and try it out then go to the backup if you didn't like the gB. Do you need to root though to access backup restore?

That's only taking into account my useless knowledge of it with the D1. The whole bootstrap and such from the DX may throw a loop into it.
