You mean MIUI? lolz. Yea it's built in (I used a 1.10.28 version of extended settings) to the app. Just had to copy/paste a few things to get it to work with 2.1.6 framework. Pinche communist fgts. :wifflebat:

MIUI v4 boots and everything on teh Fascinate, but the radio doesn't work since the one guy who has access to the files for the 3.1.9 kernel is away for a little while.

not sure, but its a lot like amazon. you can't just install the apk, you have to install the getjar market thingy to it. similar to amazon as to how its linked to an account for the updates. thats personal experience, so it may be different now. :shrug:

I'm referring to the probable quad-core chip and MUCH more powerful GPU. I would expect a good bit better build quality over the GNex as well.

Supposedly that's what they're after. Maybe they'll come through, maybe not. They could've done MUCH better on the Galaxy Nexus though. The one I played with had inexcusable casting defects on the back plate and areas of the frame, plus the gaps were all fudged. My Nexus S is flawless and feels MUCH sturdier. :shrug:

sbrissen took over AOSP development for le fassy, btw. he should have a build out this week.

miui v4 is built but needs additional files from the CM source that aren't public yet. what was used to make it functional is still the 2.xx kernel. once that source tree opens up it'll be fully ported over.

also the touchwiz TSM rom will be getting a little love with some stuff added in from the "value pack" BS Samsung released after skipping the phone for an ICS update.

I'd use it if ATT had any coverage here. How fast is Edge compared to Verizon 1x? Usually I get about 150-1200kbps on VZW 1x coverage when I happen to come across it way back in the swamp.

My GNex is solid. Gaps are tight, no weird flex, only problem is the two chips and crack across my screen. Which was my dumbass fault.

Must have gotten to play with a defect. Dunno. With that said, I do think my Fassy felt a little more solid though. But not much.

The one I played with was the ONLY one the verizon store had like a week after launch, and I was the first one to even ask about it. :rofl2: This was in a rural area though. Both girls in there wanted me to look at an iphone instead because it's more of a "consumer" phone. :rofljest:

At the time I was running a CM9 alpha on le Fascinate so the one who actually knew what it was, was all like o.0. I love my Nexus S though, on the other hand. It feels VERY sturdy and dense, which is the only thing I don't like about the GNex. It needs a little more internal heft to it. Not a big deal though.

None of us have Bionics so dunno but I'm sure there are a few. There may be CM7/MIUI choices but they won't have 4G. If you want to keep 4G, look at ones based on the stock rom. Can probably find a decent one that removes bloat, tweaks some shit, and has some themes.

I think he has one that is half decent. It's an all black and white one. But I can't remember, it may have horrid icons or something.

Shitty thing is, the majority of themes are just as cheesy, overly colorful, and full of asshattery.

I likes me some nice clean themes with sharp details. The most colorful I like is the LunarUI theme.

The only things I miss from Blur are the camera and I remember it having better battery life than what I have now. The HDMI/FM/720p I haven't really missed at all. I'm just scared because going to a blur rom means I can only use themes specifically made for that rom. Usually results in shitty choices. Will miss CM7 themes instantly.

yea. always says connect usb mass storage, says its connected pero on my laptop it appears under unknown connection or something like that and i get the driver installing bubble at the corner but then i get a fail message

:chin: go into device manager while the phone is plugged in. Look for anything LG or G2X related and right click > uninstall it. Once you got rid of everything you can find, unplug the phone. Then install the drivers. Then plug it back in and cross yo dedos

not sure what G2x has but it is most likely micro usb. PS3 is mini usb. But MT3G/N1 cables should work.

Oh and Cez, if what I said doesn't work but you get a yellow exclamation in Device Manager, you can try this:

i was having some issues connecting to my pc at home, even though i use the exact same cable on both a pc and mac at work. here's what i did that solved it, maybe it'll work for you too.

i had to manually select the driver in device manager
- go to device manager
- right click on USB composite device (the one with the exclamation point)
- 'update driver'
- 'browse my computer for driver software'
- 'let me pick from a list...'
- 'have disk'
- browse to the 'LG Electronics' folder of drivers in Program Files
- choose 'LGUSBMDM.inf'
- select 'LGE Android Platform Composite USB Device'
- hit 'next' and let it install

once that's done, and you switch your phone to 'USB storage mode' it should be able to continue to install the rest of the drivers required for mass storage automatically

I saw that. On one hand I love Moto hardware and if that RAZR does well, maybe it'll make them do "Dev Editions" more often. But the odds of it coming to VZW seem low. Even if they do release it, I'd probably have to buy it at retail since the article says it will be "released through MOTODEV" and F T M F S.

Then we haz le GNex. Huge dev following already, pretty much equal hardware (or better in the case of resolution, nfc, 0-shutter lag, etc), AOSP, can get it thru vzw w/ insurance and warranty, etc.

So far will still be grabbin' dat GNex when I can :cheeky:

Mike, I don't see myself getting anything other than a GNex.

Cam, no. Moto released an unlocked RAZR in Europe. It is not an LTE model, not a MAXX version, has NO warranty, and I think has to be bought at retail price.

So even if hell freezes over and VZW gets it, it will probably be expensive and warranty-less. Plus the GNex has more devs, higher resolution, etc.
