Hmm the X has a bigger screen, a better UI, and should be the same speed as the Samsung. I'd get an X if you don't plan on doing a lot of modding. Even if you plan on light modding, I'd get an X. Mine has a theme and the stock UI mostly removed and whatnot. I've heard from multiple people that the samsungs feel cheaper and I know that the Motos are build really well.

That said, the Sammy will probably have a more "vivid" screen and is really easy to mod from what I hear.

hi guys,

i am sniffle, a member of the CCRoms Team that produces Sapphire(Droid 1), Ruby(HTC Incredible), Obsidian(Droid X), Emerald(HTC Evo)

to clarify a few things.

this does NOT utilize the bootloader hack, it is a custom boot setup that initializes the boot process a second time to load the custom rom after the bootloader has ran all of its checks. It technically could be considered a second boot setup as it does initialize the boot process a second time.

it does NOT use a custom kernel, it uses the stock kernel, since the bootloader is not locked. the process to actually be able to use this rom is quite involved. When we are ready to release, there will be detailed instructions for flashing. If you aren't comfortable with ADB, terminal executions this rom will not be for you.

i will try to explain more as the questions come up, but for the most part that's all there is to say... other than to say that more is broken at this point than fixed. as more news comes available i will let you guys know.

Nope, no warranty with used. So would have to buy used and make sure to not leave it in hell or destroy while doon mashingz. Then when upgrade comes, FTS sell used D1, buy new bamf fon with upgrade that comes with insurance.

I went back to Invernito. You would have to delete ALL the apps that had different icons. I went back to ADW and use the stock ADW icons theme.

Video may have killed the radio star, but Cyanogen and the fellows behind the MIUI ROM have revived it for the Nexus One -- the code for the FM radio hardware that's inside the Nexus One has been merged into CyanogenMod and can now be tested by the public at large (that's you and I) in the nightly builds. Do note that nightly builds are the bleeding edge and likely have bugs in them (they're nightly compilations of code and not necessarily a finished release-ready ROM).

What most interests me here is that this is all code written from scratch by the geniuses behind the MIUI ROM, and uses nothing proprietary from HTC. Gives me a big warm and fuzzy FOSS (Free Open Source Software) feeling inside. That's open. That's Android.

Im running the LithMod beta on the Inc right now. Its super simple, no extras vanilla ROM. Only good thing about it is DarkEdge flashes over the top. I always wanted to try this theme.

rofl i might try it at some point but i srsly don't see any lag at the stock speed. The D1 was different. Stock felt slow as balls even with vanilla or CM. It needed overclocking. This thing doesn't.

ADW has nice features now. Only thing Zeam sounds like it does different is more icons in the dock which I don't care for. LP has a scrolling dock and ADW has a hidden dock bar thing.
