Picked up a case this weekend for me phones @ a local place. Wife has a TPU snap style one and mine is a harder rubber but its not grippy and is smoked. Works great in my pocket.

Same reason I like mine. I had a silicone one on my Curve, would always get stuck on shit and attract lint. Had a snap-on case on my Storm and it scratched the phone and didn't absorb shit when it fell. Had an Otterbox Commuter for my D1, it was a nice combination of silicone and hard case. Really liked it but it was a little bulky.

Now I haz TPU and will never get a different kind unless I HAVE to. It absorbs shock, stays on the phone, slides easily into pockets, doesn't attract lint, isn't bulky, and still offers a LITTLE more grip than the naked phone imo. tee pee yew ftw

Install the free LCD Density changer in the market (or use JRummy's app or something) and change the density to 300, apply it. Then 260, apply it. Then 240.

It fixed it for me for a long time (even after rebooting) but last night my battery died and when it booted back up it was tiny again and I got lazy and switched to SmartKB :rofl2: although I did start to like the GBKB so I might switch back.

Speaking of cases.... What's the deal with the TPU case I keep hearing about? AC has them for like 10 bucks. So I'm thinking about getting one for the hell of it. But I want to make sure I know what I'm getting into. I don't like the silicone style covers because they stick to my pocket and dump everything out when I pull the phone out.

I got a platinum case from Best Buy for my Fascinate when I got the phone because I know I need one with as rough as I am on phones, with the intentions of grabbing a different one as they became available.

Yeah when I swapped the apks and set permissions, it didn't even show up in the apps list. So I renamed the stock apk and "installed" the new one. It worked but FCd when I picked an app in the market. Meh

So far really liking ApeX. No random reboots, my gmail syncs correctly, I can send mms, etc.

Yesterday it went crazy where I couldn't hear anything when making calls. I couldn't hear the other person, they couldn't hear me. I couldn't even hear it ring when I first called. Once I hit "Send" it was silent. But the call went thru. Was weird. Reboot fixed it though so FIDIL

You could get a Vibrant :shrug:. Differences are that the NS ships with vanilla 2.3, has an NFC chip that you'll never use, and gets a little more dev attention. Besides that and some cosmetic things I think its almost the same. Plus you could prolly get one a lot cheaper.

I like this wallpaper but I know it is going to piss me off in the end. It is a live wallpaper. It looks bamf, probably the first one that I've actually wanted. Most the time I try a LWP and go "thats cool" and then delete it lol but this one is nice.

just had a fiasco with backup assistant. i loaded a new rom and everytime i tried to restore my contacts it would fail. so i exported them to google and all is good. the google management is soooo much better than ba. anywho

Never used backup assistant, never had a problem with Google so had no need. Contacts have never failed to restore for me through Google.
