What are fideo, duros, and chamoy?

Fideo is a soup that uses really thin spaghetti-like noodles, has a couple veggies (peas, carrots, corn in this case) and has a fairly tomatoey broth. Pretty nom. It can be made several ways, everywhere I've had it seems to make it different. My moms looks kinda like this:

Duros are deep fried snacks. Not sure how else to describe them. By themselves they are almost flavorless but for some reason still addicting and delicious lol. I bought a bag of them already cooked but you can also buy them uncooked and they are tiny and orange.

Chamoy is a sauce that has some hotness to it as well as some sweetness. You can put it on stuff like duros or fruit or whatevah. In my situation I got a bowl of duros and drizzled this stuff all over them.

You don't even open the bag. Shove it in the microwave, come back when it beeps and take it out, let it sit a couple minutes while you zap some sauce, then tear it open and eat (optionally, dump it on a plate). You can get it with sauce in the bag already and the sauce is decent but I prefer Francesco Rinaldi meat-flavored sauce...some nice chunks of beef in it.

Besides being good for lazy folks, I can make and eat it at work.

I finally went to TB and tried the Cheesy Gordita Crunch and Soft Potato Taco or whatever the hell it's called. The Cheesy Gordita Crunch was kinda bland but had a nice texture. The potato taco thing had no meat, no wonder it's so cheap, it's got potatoes instead of meat (I thought it was going to be in addition to meat).

I think in the future I'll stick to what I usually get:
Cheesy Double Beef Burrito - very filling for very cheap
Beef & Potato Burrito - a little more expensive but has a bunch more stuff in it...unfortunately, every time I eat it I finish it and then immediately feel like I ate Taco Bell's garbage bag contents.

:hmm: I looked it up, those gritz have pretty much the same instructions except you don't nuke them as long. Why would anyone bother if they suck? Just because they are pre-flavored instead of having to add cheddar/bacon/butter? Because they are pre-measured in packets? I'm the laziest cook I've ever heard of and even I'm willing to nuke gritz from the sack instead of those boxed ones.
