I always wear ear plugs when I shoot. I keep them in all my gun cases with extra pairs just in case. I get them free from work so I always has a bunch of pairs floating around.

Well my first post isn't an intro or anything but oh well. This PDF (http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/arizona.pdf) has basically everything you could ever want to know about the gun laws in every state; this one being AZ in particular.

The map at the top shows which states honor our AZ permits; red being states to avoid, blue are good to go, and tan only honor resident permits (so if you are a resident of say Texas but have an AZ permit, then CO for example will not honor it).

Also AZ is a constitutional carry state, so you don't need a CCW to conceal carry as long as you are legally allowed to own a handgun. However, there are still benefits to getting a CCW such as being able to carry in other states, carry in places that serve alcohol for consumption on premises, no waiting for NICS checks, and ability to carry in national parks.

It's also really easy to get one in AZ, all I had to do was take a Saturday class which included lots more legal info, all the required forms, and free fingerprinting. Sent it all in along with a $60 cashiers check and it was in my hands within 2 weeks. Definitely worth it IMO.
