There is no reason for that. Just follow the link below, find a different FFL dealer, and contact them. There are 5 in downtown Midland and 5 more within 10 minutes of town. You will find that most FFL dealers do not require a weapon to come from another dealer, they only require me to send a copy of my Driver's License for them to verify seller identity.

Apparently they were harrassing the people inside through the speakers. Like dumbass kids do.

Anyway, I drive a car that looks like a cop car so that got them a little nervous when I first pulled up because I saw them staring at me and my car and start to walk around the machine a little. From that I already knew it was about to be an issue. I drove into the parking real fast so that probably also made em a little nervous. I pulled right up to the speaker and rolled my window down to order my food. By this time they have realized i'm not a cop so they just go on trying to fuck with stuff.

One of the little fuckers walks behind my car and starts trying to do something to it and you know I don't play about my motherfuckin CV

I look in my rearview to see what he's doing but i can't see anything from his waist down. It looked to me like he was trying to doing something to my car. Maybe piss on it. There are only two women in this world i care about. That's my mama and my car. You fuck with either one of them and its on.

So I had my pistol in its holster in my waistband

Anyway, once I saw the pisser about to do something I went into action. His little friends were giggling like everything was all jokes.

I pulled the holster off and had the gun out and off safety in less than a second.

I always practice taking my gun off safety when i'm at home just in case I ever have to get to it fast.

I had my window open all the way to order and I had already told the lady what I wanted(whopper and fries).

I pointed my fully extended arm out the window with that shiny mother gleaming in the moonlight. The guy standing closest to my window had the quickest facial expression change I have ever seen because he saw it first. He threw his hands up and let his friends know that they needed to get the fuck on.

I wear glasses when I drive so when I rolled my window down they probably looked at me like I was some nerdy ass dude that probably wouldn't do shit.

Well surprise surprise motherfucker, nerdy guy got a 9mm with good aim.

When I pulled around to pay and get my food I told the lady that there were some little kids around back fucking with the intercom. She said, "i know". Then I said, "i got rid of them" and she said "Thank You.

The little fuckers were probably 15 or 16 and I wasn't really gonna shoot them but damnit i'm sure I taught their little asses a lesson. And that lesson is don't go around fucking with people just because you feel like it.

Problems with my Russian mainly stemed from the piston tube

I had to drill it out to put a handguard on it that came with my stock and then it never stayed placed into the receiver. Once the piston completely jammed up and blew off the rifle

I didn't want stainless, but it was only about ~$30 more than a regular barrel. People seem to like them as well so hopefully it's decent. I gotta stop buying shit now though since I already bought too much and have bills I forgot about, gonna be broke now :jester:

I found the 14" for $185 with free ship so hopefully it's still that price when I go to order. Next cheapest I saw was $225 from Rainier. Dunno what flash hider to get though. Most of them are longer than I want, but I don't want a brake/comp.

it doesnt line up so well on the back though, the upper is slightly wider than the lower where the buffer tube screws in.
