---------- Post added at 04:41 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:36 AM ---------- And the three Democrats on the actual five member commission at the FCC now have the votes to push through a new layer of regulations that would affect anyone who uses the internet. FUCK DEMOCRATS Enough Said. |

Internet providers want to set it up like that, ending net neutrality. Of course they don't propose it in those terms but that's what they'd do eventually if allowed.
Net neutrality supporters want to keep it the way it is, where your connection to the internet gives you equal access to everything.

Eh nothing will really change. "Neutrality" has always been the status quo. The only reason this came up at all is because SCOTUS made a ruling that brought about confusion on a technicality. The FCC is expected to pass a resolution today which will make it "law" once again that hardwired service providers cannot pick and choose who gets what.
There is SO much confusion about it though. The telecom providers want to end neutrality so they can make billions charging for service. Pretty much what it boils down to. Your politicians are actually looking out for you in this case Gary. The measure is expected to pass easily. |

The government's job is to prevent ISPs in the US from doing the wrong thing, nothing more.

Re: Net neutrality
They'll probably add a +$5 package for AOT, GMFS, BT, CamaroTrax, AllOHV, the jeep one, obs one, etc, etc, etc. Shaggz package.
