I am dragging ass today. Drank a half a handle jug of Sailor jerry Rum on Saturday @ surprise bday party. Went out on boat Sunday and hung out @ Sandbar hung out and had beers and looked at which was everywhere, had a thunderstorm blow up in a very short period of time stranding us halfway home @ Pirates Cove bar, had some more beers, rain didn't stop so we set off anyways. My 2-3hr trip to the sandbar turned into about a 7hr trip when it was all said and done. Got in and I was wet, cold and burnt. Still had a 2+ hr drive home too after that. Luckily the wifey stayed home and napped while I was out so she got the driving privileges.

I generally do 15-20% depending on service. If I see them hustling hard and staying on top of things the better they will get, if I have to get up to get my drink refilled or ask another waiter, well, lets just say it will be reflected in the tip.

I don't tip at drive-thru, fast food, coffee/donut shop, etc.

I tip 20% (less if service sucks, more if service is REALLY awesome) at traditional sit-down restaurants - where I am seated first, brought a menu, my order taken, the food brought to me, and everything cleaned up for me when I'm done.
