Oh and Mike, if you do pick up another Fascinate, the Nexus S Tools app works with the 3.0.8 kernel on ICS now, so you have all those extra tweaks plus the deep idle state.

Why do I have issues w/ Dx w/ gmail syncing w/ phone and phone syncing w/ gmail when they are linked together?

what do you mean? i am confused by what you are stating.

I enter dates into the phone for appts and such and they dont show up in my Gmail calendar, just my phone, then I add stuff to Gmail calendar and it wont show up in my phone calendar.

I just tried applications/calendar/clear data and that seems to have helped some.

Normally I'll just use the Android Calendar app that comes stock and it syncs with Google.

I somewhat understand what you are saying.

In your accounts you can select what syncs whether its calendars, contacts, etc. For example, my contacts are saved on my gmail, but due to having school accounts my calendars are saved on the school and training center accounts. you just have to make sure the correct items are allowed to sync.

Oh yeah, try this. I just installed on DX and then removed. It'll come in handy in the future. Even though quite a few of us have a linked dropbox account. Nothing wrong with having a free 50gb online storage place.

yeah, go into My Accounts or whatever it is on the stock DX rom and choose your gmail then make sure calendars are checked.

I don't sync my gmail calendar but i sync my work calendar.

How can I backup all my contacts to Backup Assistant so I can swap them to iP4 when I try it out? They are all backed up in Google right now

Think I kind of pissed off the guy at Verizon when I was like, "Yeah... so I got this Charge from you guys Tuesday night, and I should have gone with the Nexus. Is it possible to exchange it?". And I work retail so I was trying to be as sympathetic as I could be. Ended up paying the $35 restocking fee... oh well, it was my fault anyway.

Either way... this thing is effin' amazing.

You can sync your google contacts in iTunes. If it doesn't ask when you first setup it up, go to your device tab and at the top it should say contacts and you can set it up there.

Have any of you guys ever heard about a phone resetting all by itself? I went to read a text message earlier on my Samsung Galaxy S and there was nothing on my phone other than my contacts. T-mobile wasn't any help on figuring out what happened either.
