I was thinking of using a cheap Android. Could leave it mounted, maybe have it auto start/stop based on accelerometer if such an app exists, and when in range of wifi auto-dump video for archiving. Every time I think of it I make it into too much project and don't do it.

No project needed. Just mount and drive. Its a second phone so it doesnt ring often. When it does ring, it pauses. Just hit resume when the call is over.

The only thing about it is I sometimes forget its recording and it records me singing and shit. I'd be getting down, notice it and clam up. [fuck] lmao.
