So I just noticed that I have over 3k pictars on my phone...

I think I need to back them up and delete some

I could back them up to my desktop or use dropbox/G+/photobucket/etc to keep them in le cloud. I'm thinking G+ is a decent choice since we get like 15gb there and I can set it up to do it automatically from now on.
