Its the way the phone handles the photo Juan. I tried getting rid of the shadow but the quality of the picture gets worse for some reason. Had a couple people do it for me.

I can get rid of some of the banding using wallpaper set and save but then she is off center and it drives me nuts.

Yeah I have a few wallpapers that have that shitty banding. I think LP/ADW/etc lower the amount of colors in the images to make things run faster.

Thanks Mike, app is win. I cleaned up my shit. Only thing I don't like is the "halo" around the flashlight/brightness. Not sure if that is the widgets fault or ADWs.

Stupid question, but I haven't used a phone w/ a legit custom bootloader in a while.

About to flash CM 7.0.2 on my wife's D1. Since it is a legit bootloader w/ full roms, I don't need to have the phone on any certain version of android or anything before flashing right? Just backup anything I want, make a backup, wipe, flash?

so glad to be back in android...in the past two days i have had this DX and wow. there is a world of difference between BB, D1, and DX. so much better than that D1 due to width, the DX has a phone/screen width similar to BB, so thats a good thing.

gonna try k9 mail and go from there...
