How familiar are you guys with tasker?
Just replaced my wallpaper with klwp and trying to setup notifcation system using tasker. Trying to make a variable return nothing when my gmail application has been opened. System requires me to input something (e.g. have it return a 0), but I don't want anything to come back.

Cam going all out with the steep learning curve apps.
Klwp annoyed me so I went back to Nova and I looked at tasker in the past but never really found a reason to use it. Sorry brah Sent from my LG G2

In theory, KLWP is supposed to be less battery intensive than Widgets. Trying it out to see if thats true.
KLWP is nice if you have time to set it up right....which can take a while....otherwise just use a preset aand build off that.

Yeah I've seen some cool setups with it. I'm too lazy and set in my Nova ways.

In reality though, people still use Nova as the launcher. The gesture controls and similar are controlled by Nova and then the wallpaper shortcuts/widgets (persay) are all controlled by KLWP.
Mine is this way. KLWP as wallpaper and Nova Prime as the drawer/launcher.

5X looks decent for the money but so far they say the camera is a bit laggy and idk about 2gb of RAM when other new phones are coming with 3 or 4. ---------- Post added at 12:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:03 PM ---------- and for reference http://www.phonearena.com/phones/siz...ones/9679,9587 same size

My bad on premium of 5x and 6P.
If 5X had same tech specs as 6P, more people would probably be interested in it. The size is biggest concern to me, even more so than lack of SD card support. Using a huge phone in gym cannot be fun.

I remember seeing someone said Nov...not sure on source Reddit or android authority maybe
Edit. Sounds like this thread says Oct "LG V10 scheduled to launch this October" - any truth to this? X-post /r/LGV10 http://www.latinpost.com/articles/87...hd-phablet.htm gonna be pricey...wonder if they have deals when first comes out to purchase through best buy.

Me and cez getting it thru TMo w/ payments like po' ppl.
Cez, articles been saying Oct/Nov. Nothing official though. G4 is already getting 6.0 in some European countries (Poland?) so hopefully the V10 doesnt take long to receive it. Sent from my LG G2

Well from the drop tests and whatnot I've seen, it's a beast. But I still don't want it looking beat to shit after some drops lol. Would rather replace a $10 case.
But phone looks seks, maybe I'll just get a clear TPU. technically Sent from my LG G2

True. Anything will make the phone bigger.
Then again, we will become used to size as you use device daily. Edit: I believe it was discussed before, but how is development for G4 and anticipated development for V10?

not much going on, but I've been running an LG-based ROM for months, it runs so much better than any of the AOSP stuff out. The camera works better, there aren't any random reboots, battery life is better, etc.

I like tinkering with phones, yet have gotten busy with other stuff, that I prefer just to have something that works. To me it seems, the pure devices are the balance of being able to tinker while still having the ability to not screw them up too utterly bad....but outsides of the pure devices you are probably going to have a tradeoff (lack of SD card, battery, etc).

If TMo was carrying the 6P, it'd be a no-brainer, but I can't swing paying retail for it and don't want a second payment each month to Huawei or something.
The V10 will have a lower (but cooler running) processor and smaller battery but more RAM, 64gb internal standard, sd slot, removable battery, and some nice camera stuff (6P camera is looking nice too though). I'll miss out on stock android but I don't really have a choice unless I want a Nexus 6, which I don't really want. Plus, getting it via TMo is ridiculously overpriced, especially for a "pre-owned" model.
