We all like rice
I love the big trucks and BMWs, but me and a buddy were in this big parking lot and were just car watching. Got into a discussion of what we would and would not drive.
What kind of car would you not mind having? Not talking about a Corvette, Camaro or '69 GTO, but a car that some one call "rice." Has to be 4 cylinder or less and be a car. A couple for me is the Scion tC and a Hyundai Tiburon.

I've been thinking about this lately. For me, I can't tell by looking at it. I have to sit in it, but not necessarily drive it, to tell. For me, the minimum requirement is that my elbows and knees be in the right positions and not pressing against hard plastic.
That was the problem with my '97 Grand Am, and I hated it mainly for that reason. Looking back, it was a decent car except for that. The Tib looks nice. Me and a buddy test drove one when they first changed from the gayest looking generation into somewhat aggressive looking, and we were impressed. The tC seems like a copy of the Tib idea. The new Hyundai Genesis Coupe may be a winner. $22,000, RWD, 6 speed manual, decent fuel economy. If I could afford a new car right now, it would probably be a competition between the Genesis Coupe and the new Camaro. The Camaro is made by my favorite manufacturer and I've wanted one since I was 6 years old, but if it's not comfortable for me then the Genesis Coupe would win.

I used to have an 06 civic ex. I wouldn't mind another civic, but it would have to be the si this time. Or an RSX. Or any other car from the fast and the furious.

Honda CRX or S2000. I did like my '74 Celica but I could never afford to get it on the road. Still a neat little car.

They look like fun little go-carts. Also wouldn't mind a first gen Miata. One of the purest roadsters made in the last 20 years.

They're kinda dangerous, but they get like 45mpg. My sister got rear-ended by one and the dude was in bad condition.

Me and my lady have a 93 Sentra that gets like 25mpg. I love parking that little shit, so much easier than the truck haha. As far as new vehicles, I have driven my parents little tracker which actually wasn't too bad and leads me to believe I would like something along the lines of a scion box or even something like that new kia soul. They drive as easy as a car, get the mileage of a car, but have more headroom and you tend to sit a little higher, which i like.
Note: I am honored to be in a thread that is still on topic after 22 posts, covah ftw
