you set your setcpu profiles to slow down when the battery is low remember? So yes, that is why it was running slow. If you followed my profiles then it could have been running pretty slow if you were under 20%

OH, forgot to tell you. Phone fell off my speaker at the gig the othe rnight and landed screen down on the pavement.
I have a nice crack in the top right corner of the screen now

rofl same spot as my crack, i'd take a pic but don't have a camera besides the phone itself.

If the slowness pisses you off and you regularly run the battery down, change the profiles. Make the <20% and <30% or whatever they are faster.

I was all excited because the back on this case is fairly easy to remove instead of the others i've tried where they snap on crazy hard with cheap little clips

so i can actually remove the back to use in my car/desk docks with very little effort

would like to just drop the bish in the dock tho

Yep, the latest BB is based on Froyo. Works just fine.

In fact if you end up not liking stock Froyo for whatever reason, there is a new BB, UD, and I think another rom that are all based on Froyo.

Oh and one called Kangerade that is apparently fast as fawk but I'm too lazy to try it right now.

That's what I'm thinking. The Droid size is just right. It's big but not OMG lol

Will have to hold D2 and X in mah hand before deciding. Luckily my upgrade isn't til August so I should be able to decide by then.

maybe HTC will release a beast of some sort by then too.

Oh my hands are definitely big enough for teh X

but don't know if I want to carry that beast around.

Weight wise it is almost exactly the same as a Droid, maybe even a touch lighter.

mine is always the same speed... turn off the profiles if you don't like it slowing down when the battery gets lower.
