All music from my PC is played @ 2.1

PC is setup for 5.1 due to speaker jack being busted in half and half the jack stuck in the main speaker 3.5mm port

So the other half of my speaker jack is plugged into the SUB output and 5.1 is on so the subwoofer is switched with the center giving me mono sound in one speaker.

Problem is NOTHING IS PLAYING TO 5.1

I used to not have this problem. I don't have a speaker fill in my ghetto driver options
Would be nice but

it just stopped a few months ago and I never looked into it

Just assumed speakers died

but thats not the case
One will play a sound when the center speaker is being tested in speaker config

so your speakers have two male 3.5mm plugs coming from them? Normally they would go into the main port and the sub port but IT guy broke off something inside the main port so you are just using the signal from the sub port?

which male plug actually broke?
