yak has been "slapping" her water all over the damn place so I was looking for a spill proof bowl or something. Look at this ratard review:

I've heard of cats slapping the water. I've seen mine do it a couple times but not often. We have one of those endless water bowls with the tank that keeps it full, and one of my gatos used to jump on it and such until it was knocked over...kitchen floor would be soaked and so would shit in the basement underneath.

We fill her bowl and she slaps that shit around until it's almost empty. Means more filling, cleaning up water everywhere, and her bowl is dirty as shit. A spill proof bowl should fix the first two. FIDIL.

Oh and we have one of the autowater things too, which used to be great until this slapping started

Forgot to mention what I did to fix the tank spilling problem...I screwed the base to a piece of 2x12, and I use a bungee to strap the tank to the base.

Recently I forgot to strap it on and there was no problem so I've been leaving the strap dangling...so far so good.

I won one of those battles recently. I guess somebody was actually scared of . To be honest, I remained worried after winning...should have let the fuckhead get in front. Jack likes to see water and slap it around but when we splash her she backs off. She doesn't run away mad like some cats, she acts more like it is an annoyance. "Damnit I guess I'll walk away if it's gonna splash me and shit" then she's back in a few minutes.

Wonder if Yack would like a fountain...you can get one of those cheapo ambiance fountains or a special kittah fountain, kittah prolly won't care. Might be slapping water for fun/mischief, might be doing it to make sure water is ok to drink. A fountain could provide proof that it's water and/or confuse/distract Yack from slapping.
