Just what you might think of as stereotypical mexi nomz:
some ingredients used a lot: shredded beef, carne asada, machaca (sometimes called carne seca), skrimp, fish, flour tortillas (the little ones and the massive thin ones), pinto beans, rice, green chile, red chile, cheese on everything (white or yellow), garlic in everything tortillas: mini flour tortillas = carne asada and fish tacos big tortillas are for burritos or just torn into pieces to pick up food with corn tortillas usually used for frying/enchiladas nomz: enchiladas burritos tacos sonoran hot dogs birria tamales guacamole beans (usually smashed w/ cheese) mexi rice red chile pork/beef green chile pork/beef soups: caldo de queso (cheese & potatoes soup) albondigas (meatballs soup) menudo posole deserts: pan dulce coyotas empanadas drinks: horchata jamaica pacifico idk what else

Sonoran hot dogs are wrapped in bacon and usually grilled. Then put into a roll (bolillo) which is usually steamed to be hot/soft. Then the toppings differ depending on where you go but its usually pinto beans (whole, not smashed), diced onion, diced tomato, mayo, a little mustard, a little shredded yellow cheese, and some kind of salsa on top.
Delicious. A lot of places will have extra stuff to put on them too like mushrooms, jalapeņos, guacamole, extra cheese, etc. Haven't had one in a while but there are carts and restaurants everywhere here that sell them. So fuckin good.
