Verizon job might be in the bag. Have final interview on Friday. $13.50/hr with benefits day one.

Have an interview monday for Sage Software. $11/hr then $11.50/hr after training. Helpdesk, contract for 6 months then who knows.

Also have chance for Entry Level Cisco Engineer / Technical Apprentice at Adcap Network Systems. Have to do an Evaluation in 2 weeks. I think this might pay the best, and falls directly into what I went to school for.

What you guys think?

Cisco Engineer sounds like it could be tough but pay well and fit in with your schooling.

Second jerb has the potential to go to shit since it's a contract position they can not renew in 6mos but it could have potential to move up and become call center bau5 status.

I'd probably take the vzw jerb because it's more of a sure thing but Sage is at least IT related and Cisco is exactly what you worked for.

They usually only do that when the computer itself is extra compact. I have an HP I got for free with an external brick. The PC is small enough to mount to the back of a monitor lol

Wife got home from school and said my computer was bootlooping, saying something about a degraded array, then some kind of "attempt to restore", then the bios logo.

I hadn't even started installing anything, was just downloading the CentOS .iso

My computer has 3 HDs. A small-ish SSD as the main drive and mirrored 2TB drives for storage. The "degraded array" message leads me to believe that one of my 2TB took a shit. I have my User profile on that drive (to keep the SSD from filling up with my downloads and shit) so I'm wondering if that is keeping Windows from booting.

Will investigate when I get home.
