so a tall guy needs at least a Dyna? Wish I could find a forum that breaks down all the models differneces between te years and packages

i have a dyna wide glide and I'm 6'2.

it has forward controls, which helps tremendoulsy. i wish I had extended forward controls.

I think I need a new seat which sits me back an inch or so.

Like the fatbagger addition to the FLHX

ok so far the sportster has the motor/trans as a unit and the dyna and bigger models have a seperate motor/trans and non-EVO engine

sportster looks way too narrow/short for me to ride comfortably; but the low price was what got me at first

Look at a Suzuki Boulevard if you want a cruiser. My 06 was LOADED out the door at under $8K. Faster than any twin cam Harley stock, better economy, more COMFORTABLE(hard to believe but it's true) and lots of aftermarket parts. Bought a Dynojet Powercommander for it a month after owning it and it really woke that thing up.

Not trying to purposely shit on the Harley parade, but there are MUCH better options out there. I've ridden plenty of Harleys built in the last 20 years and was not impressed. Just my opinion though
