so this morning at the hospital one of the patients coded. shit was fucking scary. all the nurses rush over to help/provide materials from crash cart.

like 15 people, they rushed the family out (poor woman was shaken pretty bad, luckily a nurse was with her) a guy was there issuing orders and another was there asking for stuff. me and my group were watching from outside. was tense. heard at one point heart rate was 200 or something ridiculous. apparently the atria couldnt keep up with demand from the ventricles or something like that. they moved him to the ICU as required.

wasnt expecting that to happen. luckily it wasnt one of the patients we were assigned to. watching it go down was crazy. lot of movement and crosstalk in the room. the nurse i was following was new (like 2 months on the ward) and that was her first code blue too
