That's a little high for a Nexus but it's a beast so it makes sense.

you were using an old BB, we understand why you didn't wait
I like the new directions they're going: Video page Full screen Mention all the OEMs, different sizes, etc. ---------- Post added at 09:29 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:24 AM ---------- I wonder if the G2 will get 5.0. Semi-unlikely but it has been on 4.4 for a while so LG didn't do too bad there. Either way, my N7 is ready for 5.0 to be inside it. Will run Titanium Backup every few hours to be ready for 5.0 drop.

New N5/N7 dev previews on the 17th. If that "preview" is more complete then I'll flash it on my N7
Never tried the first preview, wanted to wait for something more complete.

I'm going to have to wait for reviews, sounds like it will be decent but I just think it will be too big for my taste after having a 7".
Might go with the Sony. ---------- Post added at 05:40 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:28 AM ---------- You notice how the ram on the Nexus 9 is only 2gb and the Sony Xperia Z3 is 3gb? The Sony also has an SD slot that the nexus does not. Think that ram difference and the SD slot for more storage sold me on the Sony. Although that 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 2.3 GHz would be nice. Snapdragon 2.5 GHz Quad-core shouldn't be a slouch in the Sony though. Hell I don't really know as much about tablets though so it's hard to decide. ---------- Post added at 05:42 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:40 AM ---------- Nvmd...I'm out. I wanted the keyboard/cover for the N9, but holy fuck at the price. Quote:

Pics/video of the N9: http://phandroid.com/2014/10/16/nexus-9-pics-video/
Dat lollipop. Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with the Sony or the HTC. I like my 7" N7 but that HTC looks sexy. Don't let a $200 keyboard change your mind, the Sony doesn't have a cheaper one does it? Sent from my LG-D801

LG's stock camera + HDR mode kind of sucks. I'll stick to Snapseed post editing.

The stock G2 camera is pretty nice. HDR doesn't really make a difference though. Its not exaggerated like your snapseed example.

wtf, I'm looking at it on my computer and it doesn't look exaggerated at all. For some reason when I saw it on my phone earlier I could have sworn it was HDR'd to hell. Something like this:
That motosackle pic looks good to me but yeah, Snapseed can make things look so much nicer.

On the N7:
Flashed factory image for 5.0 Preview Flashed rooted boot.img Flashed latest TWRP Booted into TWRP, factory reset, let TWRP install SuperSU for me Rebooted into the sexiness that is Lollipop dfw this on my phone, I hope it finds it's way to the G2 somehow Even the setup wizard is beautiful The "Tap & Go" thing where you place another Android device up to it with NFC enabled to copy your accounts over worked great from my G2. It only copies over your GMail accounts, no exchange or app-specific accounts but it still saves you some time. ---------- Post added at 01:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:09 PM ---------- When I go to add an email account, I can choose pop or imap, no exchange ---------- Post added at 01:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:19 PM ---------- Found a fix for Exchange in the OP here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/goog...-live-t2908873 Too bad it doesn't fix Exchange for the 5.0 email app, looks a little prettier than the version in the play store.
