mhhmm replaced gas cap. seemed to cut down the waffling idle. tis smoother now pero still has check engine light.

it may not go away instantly

you can wait for it to go away or you can clear it with your obd2 adapter and then wait to see if it comes back

Not sure how gas cap could affect idle.

Definitely gotta clear codes to see if that fixed it or not. Some codes will clear after you only drive it a few times, others can take a long time...either way, since you've got the equipment, clear it now and see if it comes back in a week.

idk about the idle issue but tightening the cap on the tracker got rid of that code, I think wifey just left it a little loose because it's different than the one on the Nizz

cleared the code and it never came back

thought about clearing it. but decided on just leaving it and hoping it would go away. last time it was a gas cap thing it turned off after a bit
