got a Sammy w/ i5 and 6gb ram for wifey and it's bamf, was only $499

but if you want to play legit games on it that require dat powah, it's gonna add up.

Do you have a case or hard drives or anything that you can re-use in your new setup or are you going to start from scratch?

Yes it'll be a VN and legit game machine. Idk if I can reuse my old case from my first computer. My friend said he has a ton of old hardware I can buy/has. Its still fairly new stuff though. But I might wait til the new haswell processors be out

Well it depends if you wanna spend lots and haz fastest possible or cut a few corners and still have a beast.

I'm still running an old as fuck Core 2 Quad with 6gb ram on an old motherboard and I can run most things at full or almost full graphics. So you don't need the very latest processor and whatnot to achieve beast status.

I'm not saying buy an old as fuck Core 2 Quad lol, I'm just saying that you could buy a 3rd gen i7 instead of the current 4th gen or wait for the haswell and buy the 4th gen when they drop in price. Shit like that. Same with video cards. The best one nVidia sells right now is $$$$ but you can get a slightly older one and still run allthethings like most of us here.

Yeah I can pretty much run anything on high or ultra with my i5 3570 and GTX 660 Ti still yet and probably will be for the foreseeable future. Most of these developers have to keep these games in the ballpark of power for the PS4 and Xbone for one thing.

Lords of Shadow 2 got mixed reviews but a lot of people on NeoGAF say they love it. UPS is supposed to bring it and Thief today, but still hasn't...

I'll say how it is when I get to play it.

Just saw some CV reviews and .......... wtf why would they steer away from the story that much more lords of Shadows 1 was ok but still hurt me when they didnt keep the old cv lore but this shit now wtfffff ur fighting against a big Corp like in the resident evils. I guess at least the game looks pretty and combat is nice. Def wont be buying it. I been whoring the cv's since Nintendo and these 2 last games have disappointed me like a mf

I never played castlevania before lords of shadow, thought they looked gay lol, but to each their own. I loved lords of shadow, and have been enjoying this new game a lot as well. Using the blood whips and blood daggers are BAMF, reminds me of Deadman Wonderland with their blood powers. It's partly set in the present, and part in the past, so there are both castles and modern day settings. The modern day levels are kind of drab, but I still like them nonetheless.

Symphony of the night for PS1 is one of my top games u should give that one a try its long as game nice rpg with tons of items and good difficulty and of course Alucard least they havent butchered MGS yet lol

You can still get SotN as a PS1 title on the Vita. Or you can buy Dracula Chronicles X or whatever for "psp" and you can unlock SotN for free.

I never played through SotN for some reason, I just watched Royarz and my bro play it lol its on my list of games to get for the Vita so I can finally play it myself.
