I guess in some places (Michigan was the example these foos told me) they put lard in the dough and fry the things in lard and they're like 2-3x the size of a normal donut. Horrible for you but dfw to try one
These were pretty much normal donuts but seemed to have more filling than usual. I got a lemon one. nom.
