i do love working hazmat trainings for 12 hour days, 5am-7:30pm, and not getting paid anymore than any other graduate assistants...none of the other grad assistants in the dept have to do trainings on the weekend(s) or have to take care of an equipment room, a training center, and office duties/industry/community involvement....the only other position that has anything difficult is the grad assistant doing the placement shit which is basically making emails to business contacts, calling students for interviews, which then pawns shit on me as the info sessions are in the training center...i should at least get more in scholarships for having to do trainings on weekends...i have gotten to the point of where i do not really care about keeping a great gpa because it only counts for your first job, but with my degrees from extremely reputable safety programs...i should be golden...
but...
hazmat training coordinator experience > ANY other grad assistant experience...
