A message they sent vB users last week
Quote:
We're pleased to announce the release of vBulletin 5.1.5, which is now available to all customers. Among the new features included are a Content Slider Module to highlight featured content from your site, as well as a Statistics Module to display your site usage. We've added an easy look-up of user names to include in user mentions. 5.1.5 incorporates updates to stay current with the requirements of Facebook Connect. We've also fixed numerous bugs that have been reported.
Due to changes in required third-party libraries, the minimum required version of PHP for vBulletin 5.1.5 (and subsequent releases) is PHP 5.4.0. Since PHP 5.3.X has been end-of-lifed, we encourage you to upgrade your servers. .
Upgrades on vBulletin Cloud sites will begin later this week. If you are a vBulletin Cloud customer, you will receive an email before the upgrade starts and another after it is completed.
vBulletin 5.1.5 is our most stable and functional version yet, and this provides a good point at which to start or upgrade a forum site using the software. Customers are invited to ask any questions on our support forum or at [email protected].
