Things that messed you up as kid
 

Does anyone remember the "scary stories to tell in the dark" books? I loved scary shit as a kid(still do) but that shit messed me up loved them but seriously the most macabre art work and scary stories i remember the story harold scared the shit out of me. Did anyone else read these or have anything similar? Any other movies or books that wrecked your little psyche, i remember the first movie to mess me up was candyman

I remember the books. I don't remember being particularly scared by them.

My sister messed me up. For example, I'm pretty sure the way I eat is her fault... When I was too young to remember she scared me away from all kinds of foods.

reality is defiantly scarier than imagination i remember some of the fucked up shit youve posted about before in your childhood

yeah i never had anything like abuse or anything my family is great. just shit i saw as a bystander. alot shit comes your way when you whole family works for the police.

I read those, great books. I remember trying to watch Nightmare on Elm street when I was a kid, got me pretty good. I love scary stuff though and especially love Halloween time.

i pick scary stuff apart to much to enjoy it. i always see the fakeness.

gore and shit like that is annoying i like psychological stuff

My grandmother had a series of books called Fox Fire

One had "hainted stories" in it. One of them scared the everloving hell out of me..
