Review: Tenampa Azul tequila reposado (and other cheap tequilas)

Tenampa Azul tequila reposado is the second cheapest priced tequila I've ever bought ($30 for a 1.75 liter glass bottle) and it is decent to drink. Absolutely no hint of paint thinner (a common taste/scent in cheap tequilas), it smells and tastes only like tequila. Not awfully harsh, barely more harsh than 1800 reposado.

This is the best value in tequila currently on the market. :imo

I said "second cheapest". The cheapest I've ever bought was Durango at $22 for a 1.75 liter plastic bottle. It also lacked the paint thinner scent/taste but was more harsh.

Two Fingers is cheap but tastes watered down. Not quite as cheap as the two above. No paint thinnerness. IIRC it was $12-18 for 750ml.

Agavales was $10 for 750ml. It is awful, it has the paint thinner scent/flavor pretty severely.

Patron is decent but it's nowhere near worth the premium price they charge. Even if it was priced better I'd rather have Cabo Wabo, Oro Azul, or Leyendo de Milagro. Patron would have to be priced the same as 1800 before it would be worth getting.

the one time I had patron, was free, had like 3 shots as well as several different types of beer

was really fucked up, wife had to pull car over on the side of the road so i didn't piss in car cuz couldn't hold it :roflmao: :roflpow:
