The COD games are good, I really liked MW2, they just don't have super long single players, they are starting to focus more on multiplayer because that is what people end up replaying more and wanting more.

I disagree. Windows 7 is the same stuff as Vista, with a couple prettied-up pieces, a few small features added, and Aero not turned on by default...

I still prefer XP. Because I'm an IT guy I need to have experience with 7 so I'm running it on my desktop at work - my quad core, 4GB RAM, high-speed desktop...still doesn't run as well as XP does on my slow-ass netbook.

Had Vista on my laptop, got pissed and put XP on it even though it required some interesting workarounds. Now it has 7 on it and is bamf. I think they look about the same but in my experience W7 seems to be a little faster, more stable, and more "streamlined" (less Cancel or Allow shit, etc) than Vista was. :shrug:

That's just UAC settings. You can get the same result with Vista, I think.

I know you could disable it, wasn't sure if you could just adjust it. Either way I've had an overall better experience with W7. It isn't night and day or anything but I've had almost no issues with W7 on my laptop, my parents laptop, and the machines we've tested at work. Vista on the other hand has given me issues in the past. W7 is just the bugfixed version of Vista rofl.

Well you end up at the river but it should show up on the map as a stranger in Blackwater.

I dunno. I liked AC1 but I find F3 and FNV to be way more fun. There is just so much to do. So many weapons, customizing them, building new weapons, being a "good" character, being a bad character, following the main story line, doing side quests, just randomly exploring fucked up buildings, etc.

Then play FNV until you get the money. If you like it (you should :crossarms:) then it will last you a LONG time, especially if you play soccer in between :jester:

Thats what I was thinking. I think Im at around 18 or so hours on RDR and not even done and its been a week or so FNV would easily last me a month if not longer.

:word: especially if you like exploring. I've found that there are two types of people when it comes to Oblivion/Fallout3/FalloutNewVegas. You either play straight through the missions and beat it fairly quick or you take FOREVER because you explore every corner of the map and check out everything.

Oh and since you can beat it as a good character, bad character, etc there are several endings. So even if you beat it quick, you can do it again and be an asshole.
