One other thing they forgot, for the people who don't believe in science: Was the same expensive kind of cable used to make and deliver the video? Did the movie studio use those cables on their cameras? Did the Blu-Ray factory use them on the transfer to the machine that makes the discs? Or, if you're watching via cable/satellite, was that kind of cable was used between the satellite and the cable company's dish or your dish? How about from the cable company's dish to your house?

rofl I needed an HDMI -> DVI adapter. Went to radioshack and all they had was a Monster brand one for $35 or so. Went to MonoPrice and got one for <$5 :jester:

It's even gold plated, as pointless as it is.
