Break it down by make and model ect. I wouldn't worry about breaking it down by engine size.

Builds
Pics
Maybe one for the mudders and ones built to rip around on sand.

under every section we need brands and model specific sections....

like yamaha
blaster
banshee
yfz
660
700
warrior/raptor 350

Grizz would be under Utility :shake:

this :shake: those just be sport quads

--------- Post added at 03:02 PM --------- Previous post was at 03:01 PM ---------

we can haz one section for OG trikes under each manufacturer since some hardcore trike fans still around but not many

It would probably be far easier if there was just a main forum of the make, then under that make subforums for the models. :imo

---------- Post added at 05:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:03 PM ----------

Rather then break it down utter sport/utility.

stonehenge

I think this gai has a good point. Cuz imagine if I wanted to post the thread "ZOMG Yamaha going out of bidness!!", would it go in Utility > Yamaha or Sport > Yamaha. :hmm:

There could be "ATV > Sport" and "ATV > Utility" for general discussions such as "Grizzly vs KingQuad, can't decide" or something. Then have manufacturer subforums with ALL models, both sport/utility.

2005_Silverado
05-03-2010, 11:07 PM
i second that...like "yamaha general"

As you can see, I said too :)

Now these sections are long, meaning there will be alot of forums with 0 posts. I like to have posts in every section and not have the 0 posts in forums for very long. Will you make sure they are filled up fast :crossarms:

Im sure we can all add a bit of info in each section...ive got a couple of how-to's for 660 Raptors and 700 Raptors and Suzuki LT-250R's...some info on Honda Fourtrax 300s. Plenty of pics too...bro has build pics from his quad as well

You bet I think between me and Eddeh we can get it going pretty quick. The only thing that may be hard is the dirtbikes for me just because I have never owned one, but i grouped those together a lot more than the quads. Yamaha is going to be the main contributor that's why there they're more sections.

This is just a rough draft some sections can be deleted as well, I'm by no means a forum builder like yourself :shake:

There's already a well established forum for most of the sport quads. I'm not sure about the utility one's though, might just wanna start off with those.

nice! will hopefully have one on R&R'ing head, cylinder, piston some time during the summer when I tear it down. Will be installing Wiseco crank/rod, wiseco 11:1 piston (bore unknown yet), Hot Cams Stage 2 and topping it off with stock valves and kibble white springs on a Trinity Racing ported head.
