Just got a PS3 a few weeks ago and so far I have:

MGS4 (almost done with this one)
Dead Space (pretty sure I'm past the halfway point of this one)
Dirt
Army of Two (me and my friend beat it QUICK)

This is my list of other games I want to play/buy:

I went to Best Buy, Target, and Walmart last night, ALL sold out of GTA4. Had to go pick it up used at Gamespot in the shitty generic Pre-Owned Games case. Oh well, $26 for a badass game is fine, I'll just try to ignore the ugly shit case :jester:

Lol, the game has been out for awile yet it is still popular as hell. I actually picked up a copy from my local Gamestop last week for $26 aswell but mine still has the original case! It has a few of those junky used stickers slapped on it though.

I think I'm around 7% on GTA already lol but even after you beat that game there are shitloads of trophys and other little things to do, the replayability on it is ridiculous. You ever played GTA eddeh?

Edit: and I like the MGS movies. I thought they would annoy me because they are so long but they are put together well and actually keep me interested :pepper:

PS3 just came out with the Slim and dropped to $299 :pepper: with a 120gb HD

Only downside to the Slim is that it won't play PS2 games, but it is also smaller, cooler, and cheaper :pepper:

RRoD is something that XBOX 360s are notorious for. The ring on the front lights up 3 red leds (i think) to let you know the console is FUBAR. 360s were notorious for running too hot and melting certain solder points inside. Fixes included wrapping a towel around it and letting it run (aka making it SUPER hot in the hope that the solder would reconnect :jester: BAD idea).

So yeah, 360s make me jest.

Me and my friend were on the ground with rocket launchers and AK47s in a corvette (lol) and he was in an apache helicopter. It was hard for him to hit us with his machine guns and hard for us to hit him with our rockets so we battled for quite a while. Eventually he won though. :blah:

damn...my friends include: a pharmacy tech (probably most successful one of them), cousin (no need to explain that), two cousins who married twin sisters, who both enlisted in navy, got out, moved some "shit", got arrested for domestic violence, have kids, cheat on wives, have no steady jobs, but they cool cuz they wear botas de avestruz :uhoh:, other guy leaches off parents jewlery store in mexi, other guy "runs" the family's mexi furniture store, other guy turned out to be bi (used to be my buddy) and was installing home alarm systems last I knew of him. All but a few are fuck ups honestly. I would be right there with them if it wasnt for the wife. Id ditch classes and would hang out with them, not one finished jr college :blah: or got a decent job, besides the pharmacy tech....who btw, would fill wife's B/C prescriptions :roflmao:

Me and my friend are the only ones who turned out okay from what I can tell lol the rest either got in trouble or are content with minimum wage jobs, no car, and living wherever they can. I am going to school (albeit taking forever to do so lol) and working an aight job, he is a machinist who is good at what he does and gets paid more than I do lol. He wants to go to school for some sort of art eventually (not like those ppl who choose art because its easy, he is mad talented) and I plan to eventually get a better job. Seems like the others don't have any goals whatsoever lol

One went into the Navy and AFAIK is still in. I hear from him once every couple years.

One works in medical imaging; he runs the database systems that hold X-rays, CAT scans, etc. He's fucking RAKING in the dough. He's kinda ugly and a little weird but I guess he often has a steady girlfriend. He will probably never marry. We hang out relatively often.

One kept going to college, and partcipated in a long-term foreign exchange program. He married a girl in Germany. They have lived there and here for a couple years in each place. He recently got his Master's degree in mechanical engineering and the only place he could find work was in Germany so they live there. I miss them. :(

One is a FedEx driver and is married to a nice girl. Wifey and I hang out with them relatively often.

They are screenshots of Gran Turismo 5 but the graphics are unbelievable. I don't think the PS3 is capable of those graphics (not at any sexy framerates anyway...) but who knows, they have been working on that game for years so they may have tweaked everything perfectly :shrug:

I tried it, I suck BAD at gt5 :rofl2: I like the Dirt style racing better. Not offroad but less simulation. GT5 is so damn simulated that I can't keep the car on the road most the time :hahano:

But at the same time, i don't like the ones that are REALLY arcade like the old need for speeds. The newest NFS (Shift) is pretty badass though.

I noticed in the demo that there was an option that I THINK controls the driving physics and it was set to "Professional". In the demo you can't change it though. I'll let my friend buy the game and then I'll change that to "Idiot" and see if I can handle it because the tracks/cars/customization/etc are amazing in the GTs.

It's going to be like a movie. Apparently there are 4 playable characters and depending on what you do, they can die or make difference decisions and change the entire game. I think one example is the guy diving in front of the car to save the kid. I think you may be able to dive and kill your character to save the kid or not dive and the kid dies. Not sure but it looks pretty cool to me.

Me and my friend have been playing the Special Ops. It's pretty fun, some parts aren't in single or multiplayer, they are situations made just for Spec Ops like a bridge with traffic on it or one that is in Chernobyl. Good stuffz.

There is one where one player is in an AC-130 and the other player is on the ground and you have to defend him while he goes from point A to point B. Pretty badass.

Yeah my friend uses a little Motorola BT that came with is phone, works great except he said it doesn't mute so they hear everything unless you like shove it under a pillow or something LOL
