Superchips tuner....idgaf about its tunes....paid $120 and just want it for speedo correction. Gonna go from 4.10s and 29s to 4.88s and 33s.

Belltech 6400 shackles...NBS drop, :ww: lift. Kinda worried about le 100 at the end, none of the posts i read mention tue extra digits....will have to do rear first to see if i got the right ones.

juan...abs sensor hold down bolt hits le a-arm bottom lip...gotta trim that shit so it no hits at full lock. then the OEM steering stop hits the caliper (Caliper is lower on le speendol now) so I gotta grind that bish off and drill hole for a bolt to act as stop....nut on both sides of arm so can adjust bolt length. Once I do those 2 things, gonna haz bamf radius again :chuy:

i like big fat wide tires and wheels just no like to raise truck up. i realize its not possible with your tires. me id ran a smaller one to keep it stock height.

Spindles are good quality, instructions suck. Had to cut/mod my lower control arms to make them work..heres what I did

At full suspension droop, the lower control arm (LCA) would hit the spindle and bind up the steering. So I cut off part of the LCA's "skirt" at the bottom to make room for it to cycle up and down w/o binding.

Since the spindle moves everything down, the calipers now hit the steering stop where there original spindle would hit. So I ground down that lil button to make room for the caliper but also leave some there in case I ever went back to stock

The ABS sensor hold down bolt would hit the LCA skirt as well, so I cut a lil section of the skirt off to make room for it.

Without these mods, turning radius sucked and it was going to break the bolt head. Again, none of this is covered in the general instructions they send you. My truck had never been aligned so I needed a camber kit as well. Hope this helps and thanks for the compliments

so :ww: is aligned and shiz...now its lacking in le power department...this lil bish came with 4.10s and 29" tarz from ferd...in order to keep same ratio with the 33s, some online calculator says I need 4.66....456 would be nearest BUT, these tarz are heavy...so Im thinking I should step up to 4.88....lil fella had a hard time pulling me trailor with the lighter 29s...so 488s should be good, imo. Since this fgt axle isnt l/s...i might add a locker or an oem l/s unit...its just gonna be $$$.

lil fgt HATES hills right now...was windy as fok this weekend coming back home and was doing 65 @3k all the way back...went from -20ft to 2500ft elevation in 2.5hrs and it was mostly in that rpm :uhoh:

so since the spindle drops the rotor and caliper down 3"...the caliper now sits lower and hits the LCA at full lock. When turning and locking the wheels left or right, the caliper is pushed against le LCA and this the piston is pushed in and you lose your brakes. Couple pumps on the brakes fixes that but its still scary. Wiffuh took my truck out today and experienced this...

So time to fix this shit...been looking around and lots of people just deal with it, others buy a $60 kit from fabtech...but I found this and I wanna do et

Looks like bolt hits the spindle and that stops it and its adjustable. I dont think I would weld the nut...Im just gonna drill a hole and use a lock nut on the back with a regular nut up front....gonna get a grade 10 bolt too.

Bolt is in and no more lost brakes...used a softer metal bolt so that fucks up rather than the spindle. Caliper has .45" of clearance between LCA at full lock. That will decrease as the bolt gets worn but idgaf, has tons of same bolts.

You guys think I should step up to grade 10 bolt or keep current ones? Btw, only lost about 1/16th of a turn

Since this lil fgt is gutless, i had to up the gearing...stock was 410 with 29" tall tarz...488s will put me back to stock with 33s.

I just talked to Johnny at Motive and says they are still making locker parts...he confirmed the part number Ive been looking for too.
